What does Tzoma mean? Tzoma, pronounced: tso-mah, means "to sew" in Nahuatl. The language spoken by the Aztecs. (the same "ts" sound as when you say "cats")
How are your products eco-friendly? We use cork, a truly sustainable natural resource. All of the fabrics we use are either organic or we salvage from local businesses. All notions, except for zippers, are sustainably produced.
Where do your supplies come from? All the materials we work with are sourced from U.S. based small businesses who share our vision of a more sustainable fashion industry. We take great pride in knowing how and where the materials we work with come from.
Are your products vegan? Only our cork handbags are vegan. The canvas in our waxed canvas bags is sent to our hand-waxing partners down in Houston, Tx where it's hand-waxed with triple filtered, Texas beeswax.
Do you make any vegan products? Only our cork collection is vegan.
How do I care for my waxed canvas bag? Please don't wash, dry clean, or iron your bag. Spot clean it with a damp rag instead. If you get water spots on your bag, then hit the spot with a little heat (like a hair dryer) to reset the wax. Heat will also remove creases from your bag.
How do I care for my cork bag? Cork bags can be cleaned with a cloth and a (gentle) soap and water solution. Cork fabric is dry clean safe, but not machine washable.
What are turnaround times? Please allow 5-8 working days for your item to be produced and shipped.
How long will it take to get my items? We ship via USPS for both domestic and international orders. A tracking number is provided with every shipping confirmation email. Are you on a time crunch? Email us via our contact page to discuss alternate shipping methods.
Returns/Exchanges Due to the nature of every item being made to order; all sales are final, yet our number one goal is for you to love your bag(s). If you are not happy with your purchase, then email us via our contact page within 7 days from receiving your items. Any returns, exchanges, or store credits will be given on a case to case basis.
